Definition of a Thriller

There can be quite a few different types of thrillers including Crime, Disaster, Mystery, Religious, Conspiracy and Supernatural. A thriller usually uses techniques such as Suspense, Tension and Excitement. There is normally a murder scene or an act of violence and crime in a Thriller to add to the suspense, Tension and Excitement. Characters normally used in Thrillers are assassins, Stalkers, Criminals, Terrorists and Characters with Dark Pasts are the main ones used.
